Experience
Mr. Brooks has worked passionately to solve problems through mobilizing people and organizations across the small towns of the Mississippi Delta and in big metropolitan centers like Boston and Atlanta. He heads an innovative PolicyLink initiative to address the growing crisis facing boys and men of color, bringing together a diverse cross-section of constituencies to address the challenges of social and economic justice. Mr. Brooks has had extensive experience addressing rural black landownership issues and was a senior manager in the Berkeley, California, government focusing on neighborhood community development.
