This report highlights promising, community-centered police practices being implemented throughout the country in four main areas:

Neighborhood Problem-Solving Community-Conscious Personnel Policies Community Oversight Collaborative Information Gathering and Sharing

These practices are opening up police departments to underrepresented communities;  engaging communities as partners; and making police departments more accountable to the communities they serve and protect.
